This metal stool has a hard metal seat, so we decided to sew a cushion from an existing skirt and button.

This quilt was made by a beautiful artisan in Africa and is special to the woman who it belongs too, but it had started to fall apart a bit. By filling in the holes with another fabric she had purchased in Africa, we were able to restore this quilt so that it’s not only usable again, but is also alive in a beautiful new way.
